ArcGIS II: Essential Workflows (10.1 and 10.2)

Managers, are you looking to increase the productivity and efficiency of your GIS workforce through having knowledgeable and innovative staff? Do you want to enrich your use of ArcGIS in your business workflows? Are there problems that keep returning which you may be able to solve with more understanding of ArcGIS technology? Do you want to keep abreast of the latest GIS concepts and their application?

Analysts, are you looking to extend your use of ArcGIS Desktop? Have you been wondering about how to use the many functions available? Are you frustrated by limited knowledge of what’s possible with the many and varied features ArcGIS Desktop offers? Want to explore functions you haven’t yet used but don’t know where to start?

If these questions are familiar, what you need to do is to come to the Esri Australia training course:

ArcGIS II: Essential Workflows (10.1) (10.2 coming soon)

ArcGIS II is for those who have some experience with Desktop but want to explore the software further. The course is run over three days and it gives a theoretical and practical understanding of GIS, particularly ArcGIS, to all attendees. You will take away a solid foundation for using ArcGIS through a series of presentations from your instructor with activities and exercises to complete. Both the exercise workbook and data is yours to keep as a resource for your workplace. The instructor will also be available during these three days to answer any questions you may have and will guide you to where help and support is found.

ArcGIS II fills in the knowledge gaps many self-taught people have in areas such as data management, workflows, tools, map creation and what is most important, taking ArcGIS from a Data Viewing tool to a Problem Solving tool. In other words your GIS will evolve from a reactive to a proactive tool within your organisation.

Please don’t hesitate to contact Esri Australia for further information. Course dates can be found at the Esri Australia Training Schedule web page or more personalised training can be held on your worksite. My name is Kerry Hogan and I am one of the instructors for this course. I’d be happy to speak to you about this or any of the other desktop courses.

Kerry H.
