Metadata changes are not applied during any replica synchronization

Metadata for the feature classes and tables you initially choose to replicate are copied during the replica creation process.
However, it is by design any following metadata changes made will not be applied during replica synchronization.
To request this behaviour be supported you can promote the idea below on Esri Inc’s Ideas website:
